OPERATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZATION
We will assist you in obtaining proper governmental authorizations so you can operate one or more industrial processes until your operational certificate of authorization has been issued.
SAMPLING QUOTE
Sampling quotes are documents which describe every step for executing a company’s stationary source emission sampling campaign based on the client’s needs, including material and human resource planning; the processes involved and their emission points; the applicable quality assurance and control system; worker health and safety; planning and executing operations; and the production of the final emission characterization report for the concerned sources.
SAMPLING CAMPAIGN
This involves all activities leading up to sampling at the client’s location, within parameters specified for each source of emission, in order to obtain results that meet the client’s needs. Sampling methodologies include absorption (manual) and/or instrumental (direct analysis) techniques.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS & APPLICABLE REGULATIONS
Here, we interpret the sampling results and determine which regulations are applicable to the industrial processes used by our clients. We provide recommendations for decreasing their emissions or even explain observed phenomena and find the associated cause(s).
SAMPLING EXTERNAL AUDITOR (QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTROL FOLLOW-UP)
The quality assurance and control system covers each step in the sampling process: elements to include in the quote, workforce and material source planning, and production of final emission characterization report.
CALIBRATION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF SAMPLING EQUIPMENT
You can count on our multidisciplinary team for the repair, maintenance and calibration of your source sampling equipment, whether it is used for absorption or manual sampling, or for direct and/or continuous instrumental sampling (gas analyzers and different detection/measuring principles).

TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Transfer of knowledge to promote a better understanding of the foundations of one or more aspects of source emission sampling. We can cover anything from the basics of sampling all the way up to the application of complex sampling methodologies for specific parameters.
CERTIFICATION AND APPROVAL OF A STATIONARY SOURCE CONTINUOUS EMISSION MONITORING SYSTEMS (CEMS)
Application of a certification or approval protocol for a stationary source CEMS according to practical methodology guidelines approved by the government, such as Environment Canada Report EPS 1/PG/7.
QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTROL FOR STATIONARY SOURCE CONTINUOUS EMISSION MONITORING SYSTEMS
We develop a QA/QC procedure protocol for CEMS based on the government-approved guidelines of agencies such as the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or Environment Canada to ensure that the CEMS operates properly and generates accurate, complete data. The entire process is based on a comprehensive quality assurance and control (QA/QC) program that covers operations, maintenance, repair and calibration.
